Hey all! Hope you’ve been doing well!
Gosh, I can’t believe it's been 4 years since I last posted a video but I’m finally back with something new :D Here’s a collab I’ve been working on with the incredible, beautiful, and talented @Tash_xxo Exactly 2 years ago from today I was picking Tash up from the airport for our first trip together, and the first time we were meeting up in person! It was the trip of a lifetime and such an amazing experience cause this girl… Guys, this fucking girl… Tash is just incredible and while this trip was already so fucking cool in theory (D23, Disneyland, San Francisco, a lantern festival), getting to experience all of it with Tash just made it 100x better.
I first met Tash back in 2016 and while we were good friends for a while, we became even closer during the Covid lockdown. After that, this girl has become such an integral part of my life that I simply couldn’t imagine life without her. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out, so driven and skilled at what she does and my god just look how far she’s come with editing!! She was already amazing to start, always so creative and original with the manips she’d create, but now she’s on a whole new level and I couldn’t be prouder of her. I’m proud of who she is, I’m proud of what she does, and I’m proud of what she will do. I love this chickadee so much, she is mah wife, and I have the fake marriage certificate to prove it! 😤

But, getting back to the video! Like I mentioned, this video is based on our 20 day trip back in 2022, with probably 99% of the clips actually representing specific things that happened on the trip. Some of these things (in order) include:
✦ Enjoying our weekly video calls leading up to the trip
✦ Meeting at the airport for the first time
✦ Working on our cosplays for D23 together
✦ Baking and cooking together
✦ Having a good ‘ol D&M (deep and meaningful) talk at a nearby park
✦ Tash getting jump scared by a moth
✦ Tash getting to see a deer for the first time
✦ General frollicking in the woods
✦ Me being a general menace
✦ Me being a much earlier riser than Tash (I tend to naturally wake up around 6:30-7am while Tash does not in fact do that)
✦ Setting off for LA with our matching leaf bags
✦ Me having a little “chat” with Tash’s now ex-friend at the convention (mama bear mode was SUPER active during this time)
✦ Exploring Disneyland together
✦ Watching the Disneyland fireworks show from our hotel balcony
✦ Checking out D23/Disneyland merch
✦ Stormtroopers approaching and interrogating Tash at Disneyland
✦ Traveling over to Pennsylvania for the lantern festival

Then, as you can probably tell, we’ve got a collection of pictures, videos, and souvenirs that we got during the trip! The crossover part is for you guys, but this part is for us 😌 What better way to remember our first trip together than by using what started our friendship in the first place? Seems perfect to me!
