Описание: Cases of Voyeurism and upskirting have been increasing in tandem with technological advances which make cameras smaller and more easily concealed. This talk will discuss the causes of voyeurism and how to prevent the development of such behaviour. Case studies will also be discussed to illustrate the complexity of helping people who have such behaviour.

Speaker: Dr Christopher Cheok, Senior Consultant and Chief, Dept of Forensic Psychiatry, IMH

Dr Christopher Cheok is the Chief and senior consultant psychiatrist with the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, Institute of Mental Health. He was formerly the Clinical Director of the National Addictions Management Service and Head of Psychological Medicine Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He is a visiting consultant to the Singapore Armed Forces and a member of the medical board of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. During his career with the Singapore Armed Forces, Dr Christopher Cheok has been the Commanding Officer of Medical Classification Centre, the Deputy Commander of the Military Medicine Institute and the Head of the Psychological Care Centre. He has served in peacekeeping missions in East Timor and in humanitarian relief mission during the Asian Tsunami. He has published 3 books on mental health and 20 research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
