Today, at Medan Simba Military Ground in Juba, Ambassador Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, a colleague of the late Lt. Gen. David Majur Dak Nak, delivered a heartfelt and compelling speech during the funeral prayers.
In his address, he reflected on the circumstances surrounding Gen. Majur’s passing, expressing his belief that the Chairman of the IO could have intervened to save his life—just as President Salva Kiir once did for him. He remarked, “I am alive today because of the mercy of President Kiir in 2016,” among many other poignant statements that resonated deeply with those in attendance.
