We have chosen to share with you a small part of our archives. The selected images, lithographies, pictures, and graphics, cover more than a century of travels all around the globe and four generations' work of searching and selecting the best woods.

Nowadays we still buy the best and most precious woods from all continents. We choose and cut the logs, and then the timber is dried with great care in our sawmill in Desio, Italy.

Our great-grandfather began by selling carpentry wood. Tonewood is now our main activity; although we still supply sawn sizes for restoration, turnery, and handicraft objects. We cut to sizes that tradition requires and that our experience suggests. Our customers are both factories and instrument makers from all over the world and anyone else who shares the passion for wood.

We deal with specific wood used in the making of musical instruments: Sprcue, Indian Rosewood, Ebony but also Cypress and many others. Among those woods, Italian Spruce is our most important product, as the wood used in the Italian instrument making tradition has proven to be exceptional. Apart from standard production, we are always looking for wood used in the traditional lutherie such as Willow, Poplar, Maple and European Boxwood.

Abbiamo scelto di condividere con voi una piccola parte dei nostri archivi. Le immagini selezionate, le litografie, i disegni e le grafiche, coprono più di un secondo di viaggi intorno al mondo e il lavoro di quattro generazioni, che hanno cercato e selezionato i migliori legnami.

Ancora oggi compriamo ancora i più preziosi legni da tutti i continenti: selezioniamo e tagliamo i tronchi, quindi li stagioniamo con grande cura nella segheria di Desio (MB).
Il nostro bisnonno cominciò vendendo legni per carpenteria. Oggi la nostra principale attività è il legno per liuteria; tuttavia forniamo anche segati per restauro, torneria e artigianato. Tagliamo infatti il legno secondo la nostra esperienza e secondo quanto la tradizione richiede.
I nostri clienti sono fabbriche e liutai da tutto il mondo, ma anche chiunque condivida la passione per il legno.

Noi trattiamo specificatamente legni utilizzati nella costruzione di strumenti musicali come Abete, Palissandro Indiano, Ebano Africano, ma anche Cipresso e molti altri. Tra questi, l'Abete italiano è il nostro più importante prodotto; utilizzato nella grande tradizione liuteria italiana, si è dimostrato un legno eccezionale.

A parte la nostra produzione standard, siamo sempre alla ricerca di legnami utilizzati nella liuteria tradizionale, come Salice, Pioppo, Acero e Bosso.
