Sky News host James Macpherson details how the Melbourne City Council is attending a conference to move a motion in support of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
“Local government, it’s meant to be about rates, roads, and rubbish, right?” Mr Macpherson said.
“Well, not if you’re a Melbourne City councillor … instead of focusing on the things they’re elected to do, they’re attending a conference to move a motion on the support of the UN treaty on the prohibition of nuclear weapons.”
