News Corp UK correspondent Sophie Elsworth claims the parliamentary chaos in France will “cause tension” with US President-elect Donald Trump.
French MPs have ousted Prime Minister Michel Barnier in a vote of no confidence.
“The EU has to look strong,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Steve Price.
“At the moment it's not looking like that at all and that will cause tension, particularly with the US.
“Donald Trump is very sceptical of the EU.”
