Описание: In this video I show how I start African Ebony from seed. Dalbergia melanoxylon. I forgot to mention you should snip the ends off the seedpod, without hitting the seed within. This will allow the moisture to access the seed faster and have a lower wait time for sprouting. In my experience the entire Genus of Dalbergia is sensitive when growing from seed or transplanting as a seedling. Do not be surprised if your Ebony seeds take awhile to sprout or if none do. Many suppliers have old stock or sell stock with Pod-borer insects holes in the seed making them inert. Makes sure to check for borer holes before scarification and sowing.
