Rock Fishing For BIG Bonito And MACK TUNA (Live Bait)

Описание: Last month I caught this 78cm mack tuna live baiting off the rocks and it was my first one. I was fortunate enough to have been given a fresh live bait from the lady next to me (I forgot my sabiki rigs) and in return she ended up with the tuna. A win, win situation!

The fight itself was interesting. After seeing the commotion above the float and then watching it get dragged under. I set the hook, and the fish went for run. You would have seen the other fisherman grab the rod to try and help me, but I told him to stop. I was not angry, but I didn't want to lose the feel I had of the fish as I was applying the right amount of pressure. Then after a few minutes I got the fish right to the ledge where it unfortunately got stuck on some broken off fishing line around the cunjevoi. After trying to get the fish free for about four minutes along with the big stingray trying to have a feed, with some luck the fish got free, and we landed it just as the hook came out of its mouth. We took some photos and measured it and after bleeding it I went to catch more.

The fish had moved on at this stage and it remained very quiet for the rest of the afternoon, which is why this video only composes of the one catch. Hopefully next time we see a big kingfish or longtail tuna!
