Summerland, B.C., evacuates after wildfire explodes in size

Описание: More than 12,000 residents of the district of Summerland, B.C., have been ordered to evacuate as the nearby Bald Range wildfire spreads.

The district declared a state of emergency Saturday, stating the wildfire poses a risk to life and safety.

More than 100 blazes are active in B.C., with the cause of the Bald Range wildfire still unknown.
