Chola Maavu Kolukattai | Jowar Kozhukattai | சோள மாவு கொழுக்கட்டை | சத்தான கொழுக்கட்டை செய்வது எப்படி?
Kozhukkattai (Tamil: கொழுகட்டை) or kozhukatta (Malayalam: കൊഴുക്കട്ട) is a popular South Indian dumpling made from rice flour, with a filling of grated coconut, jaggery, or chakkavaratti.
Ingredients:
Groundnut Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp,
Gram Dal - 1 tbsp,
Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
Big onion - 1 no,
Green Chilli - 2 nos
Curry Leaves chopped
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Chopped Coriander leaves
Jowar Flour - 1 cup
Water - 1/4 cup

In a way, the dumplings are the Kolukkattais of East Asia.” Apart from being a tasty snack, Kolukattai is also healthy as it packs the goodness of coconut, dal, jaggery and rice in its little potli. Kolukattais have also taken a 'diet' avatar as they are made from oats.
It's a hot traditional pack of nutrients, proteins, carbohydrates, and dietary fibers. Similar to Tibetan Momos, Kozhukattai is an exotic appetizer which is also a simple snack to prepare, Helps to reduce weight and body cholesterol.
