Описание: Garrett gets the mission from Constantine and Viktoria to obtain a special object called "The Eye" out of an old Hammerit cathedral that lays deep in the abandonned Old Quarter of the City.

Regardless of the name of the mission we don't really visit the cathedral - at least not now. Instead we have to pave the way to it through the streets and buildings of the abandonned Old Quarter. That may be atmospheric and come with solid level design but it's not everyday work of a thief.

Play- and walkthrough of Mission 8 "The Haunted Cathedral" (mission 7 in the original, non-Gold version) of the 1998 stealth-action grandfather Thief: The Dark Project in the Thief Gold version with TFix and the HD Mod 1.2 on the highest difficulty "Expert".

I'm playing more or less rapid but not even close to speed-running, mostly as ghost but if someone stands between me and my loot and can't be avoided I won't hesitate to knock him out but no human was seriously harmed during production of this video. However, that doesn't count for undeads, burricks, spiders and other nonhumans... in any case I think the video series works very well as a walkthrough and at the same time as "just for watching" a full playthrough including story without aimless wandering.

Thief Gold is available on Steam and GOG. TFix (primarily for running smooth on modern systems) and the HD Texture Mod 1.2 are available on moddb.com.
