I adore this book by Michael Rosen. I love the repetitive, rhyming and simple words of the story, which encourage young learners to read along. It’s probably the most age-appropriate suspenseful adventure book for young learners! I know this book by heart as I’ve read it so many times to my students and to my kids. The story is especially engaging when you read it aloud and build up towards the thrilling end!
