It is an OPEN SOURCE project addressing the IoT needs and demand of the developing countries and to tailor the IoT and Big-data PaaS platform in the context of Africa in order to offer value-added cost effective, reliable and energy efficient services. The problem of cattle rustling in Africa is huge and expanding, with millions euros of lossestimated every year and a severe increase of violence. The income of the breeders is directly threatened when the cow are stolen. The cattle collar developed by WAZIUP helps the breeders to control the position of their cow in real-time and have a direct impact to protect their income.
