You don't need fancy ingredients o whip up a storm in the kitchen. This bacon egg fried rice recipe has all of the ingredients for you to make a delicious homemade meal.

In this video I'll show you how to make bacon fried rice with only a few simple ingredients that you probably already have lying around in the house.

By following the step by step bacon fried rice recipe guidelines that I show you in the video, you'll be able to wow your friends and family with this delicious egg and bacon fried rice recipe.




Ingredients:

2 eggs
3-4 strips of bacon
1-2 green onions
3 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of light soy sauce
2 Tbsp of cooking oil
½ tsp of black pepper
2-3 Shallots
1 tsp of white sugar
350-400g of overnight cooked leftover long-grain white rice

Notes:
For the best texture, it is highly recommended to use overnight cooked leftover rice.

Try to separate the rice when stir-frying it on the wok. The rice is nearly done when you start hearing "popping" and "cracking sounds" and the rice is separated and no longer clumped together.

You can reduce the amount of bacon fat left over from frying the bacon if you want to cut down on calories, however you should leave at least a little bit of the bacon oil as that adds a lot of flavor to the fried rice.
