At the beginning of this much-awaited Duets, van Herpen and Rabkin talk about the challenges and repercussions of the pandemic on fashion. “There’s a certain magic between people that is lost," shares Iris. "Inspiration is never the issue. Inspiration comes from so many sides. It can be a conversation with someone. It can be a walk in the city. It can be a book. It can be a piece of dance that you’re seeing. I don’t think that has changed.“
