Basic little minnow fly that will get the job done. A good fly to start the day with, see what kind of mood the fish are in. Classic, simple, proven, and effective. It’s a minnow.
This color scheme closely matches the characteristics of a Silver Shiner, commonly found in Midwest rivers. Smallmouth bass eat these shiners all the time.

0.025 lead wire
Gel Spun Thread 100 denier white
Foxy brush white 3”
Flashabou Color: Rainbow (any flash works)
Rabbit strip (chinchilla)
Yellow laser dub
White laser dub
5/16” oval pupil adhesive eyes
Gel super glue
Loon UV thin resin
