On December 26, 2023, officers were called to a local restaurant after receiving complaints about a drunk woman harassing customers. When officers arrived, they tried several times to de-escalate the situation and give her a chance to find a ride home.

The woman, later identified as Sandra Velaztro, claimed she had schizophrenia and refused to cooperate with officers. After multiple warnings and failed attempts to find someone to pick her up, she was ultimately placed under arrest for public intoxication.

While being taken into custody, the woman continued to argue with officers, make bizarre statements, and even refused to put her foot in the patrol car—leading to one of the most unusual moments caught on bodycam:

“Here’s the deal—do not poop in my car, okay?”

Velaztro was booked into P County Jail for public intoxication and later charged with assault on a peace officer from a separate incident the same day.
