At least 22 people have been confirmed dead after an accident at Nanda in Kiryandongo district last night that involved a Gaagaa bus, a tractor and a trailer. Some of the seriously injured survivors have been airlifted from Kiryandongo to Mulago were they are receiving treatment. Survivors and traffic police have attributed the accident to reckless driving and speeding by the bus driver.
