As the world becomes increasingly digital, EdTech is everywhere, but how can it contribute to the vision of universal, quality education?
Doing a deep dive into the adoption of EdTech in India, IT for Change organized “EdTech for Equitable Education: Critical Conversations,” a day-long conference, in collaboration with Critical EdTech India (CETI), at the Infosys Science Foundation on 30 October, 2025.
The keynote address for the day was delivered by Jian Xi Teng, Programme Specialist for Education, UNESCO Regional Office for South Asia. He highlighted the diverse learning needs of students and the importance of context-aware tech interventions.
Bringing together diverse voices—practitioners, academics, technologists, civil society organizations, and policymakers— our conference aimed to collectively reflect on how we might envision EdTech for equitable and meaningful education.
