Removing the Door Handle unit - Fisker Ocean +Electronics clean up

Описание: Shows the steps to take off the inner door card, remove the door glass and then remove the door handle unit, for replacement or fixing on the FISKER OCEAN. The electronics box of the unit is then dismantled and some water contamination cleaned up. The NFC reader electronics is got to from outside as it is in the handle part that opens. See the next video, now out, see below, about that and how it was possible (but difficult) to fix the water damage that was stopping the NFC reader working, with it shown working at the end. Test the handle off the car and lubricate the moving parts with grease while it is apart.

00:39 Start removing the inner door fittings.
03:29 Pull off the door card after all bolts are removed.
04:07 Remove connections to the door.
05:50 Peel off the foam cover.
06:40 Remove the inner and outer window seals.
07:10 Lower and line up and remove the glass.
08:30 Remove the 3 bolts holding the handle and remove the handle.
09:50 Unplug the unit.
10:10 Dismantling the handle unit - mostly to get to the electronics.
12:00 Cleaning up water corrosion damage.
19:00 Reassembling notes - waterproofing.
20:30 Check and adjust the gear cog alignment to get a good open/close position.
