My First Backcountry Couloir

Описание: This was our biggest day of the season and my first time riding a couloir. With a lot of ground to cover to get to this zone, we had a very early start. The couloir was north west facing, but the high rock walls kept the snow shaded in the couloir for later through the morning. We had a tricky down climb to get to the run, but once we were in it the snow felt very stable. Luckily for us, the conditions allowed us to ride out as far as possible, and we finished the day with a four mile skin back to the truck. This spring has made for an awesome backcountry season

This was our last shred mission for the winter, but we may be getting back on board in June. For now we will be enjoying the off season abroad and laying low. Thanks for an awesome season everyone!
