In this episode, Ben takes the current custom guitar building project further, elaborating on the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method of burning wood and then sealing it to improve its stability... And... Tone? 😵‍💫

After adjusting the traditional technique to better suit luthiery Ben takes the softer surface of the freshly burnt wood and burnishes the pewter swarf (created earlier in the build) into the guitars body.. In doing so he creates a new galaxy to explore.
