On the Mat: The Ohio State Black Shirts | B1G Wrestling

Описание: All Ohio State wrestlers training inside the Jennings Wrestling Facility begin by wearing gray shirts throughout the 2019-20 season and beyond.

Only those deserving of elite distinction will be bestowed a ‘black shirt,’ earning the privilege of wearing black in The Jennings.

Once donning a black shirt, a student-athlete then joins the coaching staff in determining future ‘black shirt-worthy’ teammates. Similar to Ohio State Football’s tradition of removing a black stripe from players’ helmets, the black shirt signifies that a student-athlete is conducting themselves appropriately on and off the mat.
