We’ve taken on the Big Daddy of our setlist for this next virtual BBC project – “Nordic Polska” , adapted from the performance by Leveleleven. The song is originally known as "Slängpolska efter Byss-Calle" and is combination of a Swedish & Finnish Folk song. Polska is a common music & dance form shared by the Nordic countries. Traditionally Polska is dance music & very upbeat and the triple metre and the rhythm is characteristic of it.

This acapella by BBC has 16 voices and 8 parts. The song is a ripple and a relay of syllables passed on from one group to the other to cohesively form something coooool. You’ll hear voices coming in an out and developing through the song (If you stay till the end of the song ofcourse ;-) ) I really do hope we’ve done some justice to this magnificent composition!

Everything has been recorded on our phones and put together by our very own and dearest Leslie Charles. We wouldn’t even think of attempting this one remotely and virtually if it were not for Les!
