#CrystalFighters is an Anglo-Spanish band formed in 2007, known for their vibrant energy and unique fusion of electronic music with traditional Basque sounds. Their essence is a sonic journey that blends synthesizers and beats with traditional instruments such as the txalaparta, txistu, and danbolin, creating a distinctive yet hard-to-classify style.

The band's story has an intriguing origin. Their name, Crystal Fighters, comes from an unfinished opera written by the grandfather of Laure Stockley, one of the band's early members. While going through her grandfather's house in the Basque Country, Laure discovered the manuscript and was captivated by its story. She shared it with her bandmates, who embraced it as a source of inspiration for both their music and identity.

In November 2023, they released their latest album, LIGHT+, where they stay true to their festive spirit while refining their sound with an uplifting and polished approach. As always, the album explores the intersection between organic and electronic elements, a signature theme in their musical evolution.

Crystal Fighters maintain a strong connection with Spain, and in 2025, they will be one of the headliners at the PolifoniK Sound Festival in Huesca, sharing the stage with artists such as Rozalén and Dorian.

Beyond festivals and albums, what truly defines Crystal Fighters is their ability to convey energy, joy, and connectionwith their audience. Each of their concerts is a celebration of life and diversity, solidifying them as one of the most beloved bands in the indie-electronic scene.

#CrystalFighters es una banda anglo-española formada en 2007, conocida por su energía vibrante y su singular fusión de música electrónica con sonidos tradicionales vascos. Su esencia es un viaje sonoro que fusiona sintetizadores y ritmos con instrumentos tradicionales como la txalaparta, el txistu y el danbolín, creando un estilo distintivo pero difícil de clasificar.

La historia de la banda tiene un origen singular. Su nombre, Crystal Fighters, proviene de una ópera inacabada escrita por el abuelo de Laure Stockley, una de las primeras integrantes de la banda. Al recorrer la casa de su abuelo en el País Vasco, Laure descubrió el manuscrito y quedó cautivada por su historia. Lo compartió con sus compañeros de banda, quienes lo adoptaron como fuente de inspiración tanto para su música como para su identidad.

En noviembre de 2023, lanzaron su último álbum, LIGHT+, donde se mantienen fieles a su espíritu festivo a la vez que refinan su sonido con un enfoque inspirador y refinado. Como siempre, el álbum explora la intersección entre elementos orgánicos y electrónicos, un tema característico de su evolución musical.

Crystal Fighters mantiene una fuerte conexión con España, y en 2025 serán cabezas de cartel del Festival PolifoniK Sound de Huesca, compartiendo escenario con artistas como Rozalén y Dorian.
