Being based right here in Kapuskasing, we're surrounded by forests, and the wood industry is a huge part of our daily life and economy. We had the privilege of producing this video for NEOMA (NorthEastern Ontario Municipal Association) to help support and raise awareness about this vital sector.

The forestry and wood industry is the heartbeat of our Northern Ontario towns, it's literally why many of us are here today.
That's why NEOMA (NorthEastern Ontario Municipal Association) came together to create this video: to showcase the hard work, innovation, and people behind sustainable wood harvesting, processing, and everything in between.
We also need to openly address the real struggles: market challenges, shifting markets, and regulations and discuss what must be done to secure a sustainable future for this vital sector. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐚 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆.

L'industrie forestière et du bois est le coeur des villes du nord de l'Ontario. C'est littéralement la raison pour laquelle beaucoup d'entre nous sommes ici aujourd'hui.
C'est pourquoi NEOMA (NorthEastern Ontario Municipal Association) s'est réunie pour créer cette vidéo : afin de mettre en valeur le travail acharné, l'innovation et les personnes qui se cachent derrière la récolte et la transformation durables du bois, ainsi que tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux.
