Описание: In this video, drug related factors have been discussed. Physical state of the drug is the important determinant factor. Liquids are absorbed better than solids and crystalloids are absorbed better than colloids. For drugs administered in solid oral dosage form, drug has to first disintegrate into fine particles (disintegration time) and then drug has to go to solution (dissolution time). Particle size is also important determinant factor. Drugs with smaller particle size, disintegration and dissolution will be facilitated and hence absorbed better. Importance of lipid and water solubility for the absorption of the drug has been explained in presentation also.
