Chengicherla Holi violence: BJP leaders politicise issue

Описание: Clashes erupted during Holi celebrations outside a mosque in Chengicherla, near Hyderabad, on March 24.

Clashes ensued after Holika Dahan was burned close to a mosque and loud music was played while people were praying.

According to reports, some people were injured during the clash.

Shortly after the incident, BJP Hyderabad candidate Madhavi Latha said, “Muslims living in Chengicherla were foreigners.”
