Conscious mind-
Conscious mind is the level of our mind that makes us aware of our surroundings and ourselves. It is used while walking, speaking and doing our daily life activities. The job of conscious mind is to analyze incoming information through our sensory organs - Sight, sound, taste, smell and touch. It can only hold one thought at a time. You may think, whatever you think, speak, analyze or decide is done consciously by our brains but it is not so.
It is the plane of mind which contains our past memories, past experiences and beliefs. Now you will understand the subconscious mind in detail.

Subconscious mind-
Subconscious mind is the part of our mind that records every activity that we are engaged in and also what we think about these activities. It stores all the information related to what we like or dislike, our past experiences, memories, skills, our presumptions about something or someone, our fears and phobias etc. We all take out different meanings from the same incident. Therefore if you think that whatever you judge or decide is done by your conscious mind, without any bias, then think again. What you decide or react in a particular situation is simply your response according to, how your subconscious mind is pre-programmed to respond in the similar situation. And interestingly this Automatic and previously stored behavior response comes without your awareness and control. As it is not coming from your conscious mind. This is the reason, why some times people never realize or accept their bad reaction or behavior as it is their pre-programmed reaction in that specific way unknowingly based on their beliefs and past experiences. Our conscious mind can store one thought at a time but the subconscious mind has virtually infinite capacity to store everything that we encounter with. As the subconscious mind has a collection of our old beliefs, habits and past experiences, it cannot create new ideas. Studies show that our subconscious mind gets ready for action 0.2 seconds before we consciously decide to act. Even when we think, we are consciously making decisions, it's our subconscious mind that is actually playing the main role in decision making. Whenever we have any emotion, memory or an image stored in our mind, it's the time our conscious mind communicates with the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind communicates information through our emotions, imagination and dreams. whatever we do using the subconscious mind is performed in automatic mode.

Superconscious mind-
Superconsciousness is the highest level of consciousness. With conscious mind a person sees table as table, car as car and human as body. But when a mind reaches Superconscious level then it sees the underlying unity in all the things whether they are living or non- living.
A superconscious mind realizes that all the things are made up of energy and everything is interconnected. A mind in Superconscious state experiences divine love and bliss. Paramhansa Yogananda made an interesting statement that “Thoughts are universally, not individually, rooted.” What does it mean? It means thoughts do not belong to an individual, they are available at universal level. At any level of consciousness, one can access the thoughts available at that level of consciousness.
Now the question arises, is it possible to attain the level of Superconsciousness?
If yes, then how can we experience it?
So the answer is- Yes, it is possible to experience this highest level of consciousness. But it is not easy.
Although it can be achieved through meditation, affirmations, chanting and prayers. There are also different levels in the Superconscious state of mind that can be achieved step by step with practice. Whenever there is a problem, there is a solution. The Superconscious state of mind is the problem solving state. On achieving this highest level of consciousness, your mind becomes free from all the questions and you get answers to all your questions.
