Drone videos flying alongside of the original Forth Bridge-Construction of the bridge began in 1882 and it was opened on 4 March 1890 by the Duke of Rothesay, the future Edward VII. The bridge carries the Edinburgh–Aberdeen line across the Forth between the villages of South Queensferry and North Queensferry and has a total length of 2,467 metres (8,094 ft). When it opened it had the longest single cantilever bridge span in the world.
And the Forth Road Bridge opened in 1964 and, at the time, was the longest suspension bridge in the world outside the United States.[6][7] The bridge connects Edinburgh to Fife; replacing a centuries-old ferry service to carry vehicular traffic, cyclists and pedestrians across the Forth.
In the background is my least favourite of the three The Queensferry Crossing The bridge is a cable-stayed structure, with three towers each 207 metres (679 ft) high.[41] Including approaches, the overall length of the bridge is 1.7 miles (2.7 kilometres); at opening, it was the longest triple tower cable-stayed bridge in the world.[51] The bridge carries motorcycles, cars and heavy goods vehicles, while public transport, cyclists and pedestrians use the Forth Road Bridge. Wind shielding has been built into the design, to enable use of the bridge in high winds, which often led to restrictions on the old bridge.[
