This page of the journey took me to Hiranandani Estate, Thane, where I went to meet my old Assamese friend Manas after a long time. Some friendships don’t need daily calls — you meet after years and everything feels the same.
Manas and his wife Angana welcomed me with so much warmth. They showed me their beautiful apartment, and then came the real emotion — home-cooked food. Manas cooked mutton for me, slow, soulful, and full of love. Angana joined in, and together they made the day unforgettable.
This vlog is not about travel alone.
It’s about old friendships, Assamese hospitality, and the feeling of home you find far away from home.
