Back in 1984-85, Toyota was looking to create a car to really set the pulse racing. For years, Japanese cars had been a bit of a joke, but then Toyota came out with the first generation MR2. A mid-engine, perfectly balanced T-Top coupe with a spritely 4-cylinder engine and real eye catching appeal. Now fast forward 2 generations later and suddenly, the MR2 got a lot smaller and much more rounded!
