Filmed at Broom Quarry Lakes in Bedfordshire. Friday morning 8th September 2017. I was just watching ducks, moorhens, swans, a great crested grebe and a few other geese when I heard them coming, flying in loose formation towards me, and on to a lake nearby. You might need the volume turned up to hear them. I followed on to the lake where they settled a few minutes later and filmed them a little more. Funny how they all face the same way.
Panning across to the left, I caught sight of a much larger bird sitting motionlessly on the edge of the lake, but facing away. Not sure what it is. Could be a heron, but it looks too large.
