Serious concerns have emerged from Kendrapara district, where a large number of licensed guns are reportedly present. According to information, many of these firearm licenses have not been renewed, and more than half of them are said to have expired validity.

Questions are now being raised about why these guns have not been returned or renewed despite the expiration of their licenses. The issue has drawn attention from the administration.
Responding to the matter, the District Collector of Kendrapara stated that the incident will be investigated and necessary action will be taken after a detailed inquiry.
