Like many of the artists of Pietrasanta, sculptor Ron Mehlman relies on a robust infrastructure of suppliers, artisans and shippers to support his career. In September of 2025, faced with the task of shipping his sculpture “Monument for All Time”, to a private park in Colorado, he turned to a longtime associates, the Fracassini family @mauromarmi in Pescarella just outside Pietrasanta, to address the complex challenge of boxing his delicate stone sculpture and ensuring its passage to Colorado unscathed.
