This week I have a pretty nice machining project to tackle. This is a steel nut that goes onto a telescoping cylinder tube.It screws onto the tube end and hold the seals and bronze packing nut.
I'll use some heavy wall mechanical tubing and machine this in the American Pacemaker lathe.
Turning, facing, boring, and threading. I also have a face groove to cut on one side for an o-ring.
