Behold, my dream cast for the Captive Prince! I truly hope one day this series can get the TV adaptation it deserves. Laurent and Damen changed the enemies to lovers game for me. Love Pacat's simple, non-flowery, but effective style of writing 👏

Book 1 was absolutely brutal but I'm so glad I pulled through and read the entire trilogy ❤ I'd have to say my favourite would be Kings Rising, I don't know what it was with that book but I fell in love with it!

SYNOPSIS
Damen, the warrior prince of Akielos, is betrayed by his patricidal brother and sent to the enemy nation of Vere as a pleasure slave. To make matters worse, he is given to Laurent, the crown prince of Vere. Entangled in the politics of the Veretian court, Damen finds himself in a play for the throne and must work together with Laurent in order to survive and protect his country.
