Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this rear view safety flush-mount backup camera. Now this backup camera will make your vehicle compliant with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111 viewing requirement. That viewing requirement regulates a necessary view behind the vehicle. And that rule will impact vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of under 10,000 pounds.

This part will include everything shown here on the table. It'll include the backup camera with the five pin male connector. Does include some camera space rings that'll let you put your camera at the correct angle. Does have 66 feet extension of camera cable. Does include this five pin male to RCA male adapter and this female power cable for the RCA adapter and a hole saw for cutting the hole for your camera to fit into.

Now this flush-mount backup camera is about one and a quarter inch in diameter, and it's designed to mount flush in the back of your vehicle.Basically just simply drill a one inch diameter hole at the rear of your vehicle with this included whole saw and the camera will mount perfectly in that space for a nice clean install. And as I mentioned, it does include the space rings that you can install on there to put the camera at the correct angle. You can also mount this with a bracket which is sold separately. Now this camera is IP68 rated. It keeps out dirt and moisture.

Does offer 700 TV lines. And also when it's installed, it gives you 170 degree viewing angle. A few specs on this camera. The diameter again is one and one quarter inches. Total depth of it is one and a half inches deep.

And one last note on this, this camera must be installed between five inches to 96 inches off the ground in order to be compliant with that Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111. But that should do it for the review on this rear view safety flush-mount backup camera.
