Jeremiah 29:11-14: Given to Israelites in Babylonian exile—time of immense uncertainty, despair, longing for home. They felt lost, far from their land, temple, what they knew as God's presence. Yet in that displacement, God sent message of hope.

Verse 11: "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Even in our lostness, God has purpose for us, good plan transcending current circumstances.

Verse 13: "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Not conditional "maybe"—it's definite "WILL." It's assurance. God isn't playing hide-and-seek. He DESIRES to be found.
