Aerial Views of two US 101st Air borne Division Fire Support Bases, during the Vietnam War

Views from a helicopter,approaching and circling US 101st Airborne Division Fire Support Base (FSB) Normandy, on top of a mountain in Vietnam, during the war. The base has been cleared of vegetation, but has few notable structures or equipment readily discernible from the altitude at which it is being viewed. A different sequence shows FSB Geronimo, from a helicopter. This 101st Airborne base is on a Hill top, and is larger and more developed than FSB Normandy. It has well defined perimeter and interior roads, and numerous structures and facilities. A fairly large river can be seen in the distant background in some views. Location: Vietnam. Date: March 8, 1969.
