for a long time, I believed authentic living meant choosing what aligned with my values, even when it was uncomfortable or costly. I still believe that. but over the past few years, I’ve learned that authenticity doesn’t exist outside of reality, especially when money, work, and survival are involved.

in this video, part three of the art of authenticity series, I reflect on three key choices I made in my twenties. walking away from profitable work that didn’t align with my values, leaving a stable job in pursuit of freedom, and chasing creative work without a sustainable plan. my intentions were honest, but my strategy wasn’t always there.

this isn’t a video about regret.
it’s about refinement.

authentic living isn’t just about what you refuse to do. it’s also about what you build slowly, intentionally, and sustainably inside the system we actually live in.
