I walked up Thorpe Cloud in bright sunshine with clear views across Dovedale — but on the way back down, heavy snow suddenly hit.
This video is a real reminder of how unpredictable Peak District weather can be, even on short walks. The route takes you to the summit of Thorpe Cloud before descending and crossing the famous River Dove stepping stones.
