Описание: We go to The Thoroughbred Center in Lexington to chat with Robbie Medina, who spent 20 years as an assistant trainer to Hall of Famer Shug McGaughey before going out on his own in 2020. Medina's medium-sized stable is split between TTC and Oaklawn for the winter and TTC and Churchill Downs in the spring. Medina's breakthrough came last year with the 3-year-old filly Praying, winning Saratoga's G3 Prioress at 21-1 odds, followed by defeating top older fillies and mares Vahva and Zeitlos to win Keeneland's G2 Thoroughred Club of America Stakes.
