Tied for 1st place on Cyberscore and The Sonic Center at time of achievement.
I played this ring attack on the Steam (PC) version. This level is fun. Moving your character to phase into the wall/floor and get to the lower area of the stage is not hard to do. You can practice it and get the timing down to complete it consistently. I put the controller display in this video so that this strategy is clearer. Put the tip of Sonic’s right shoe on the right edge of the last moving block, and start this strategy there.
A potentially annoying part of this level is the bottom loop; the timing to jump out of it and get enough speed to backtrack can be a problem. This can waste your time and make the completion time slow when you try to get a fast time for this ring attack. The other parts of the level are not difficult, but if you want to get a fast time, you should practice this level and really know the stage’s layout.
