अपने बयानों के लिए सुर्खियों में रहने वाले अरशद मदनी ने एक बार फिर बड़ा बयान दिया है. कांग्रेस पार्टी पर हमला करते हुए मदनी ने कहा है कि कम्युनलिज्म के प्रति उसके पुराने नजरिए पर सवाल उठाया है और कहा है कि कम्युनल ताकतों के खिलाफ मजबूती से कार्रवाई न करने की वजह से देश “तबाही के कगार” पर पहुंच गया है. मदनी ने X पर एक पोस्ट में कहा कि इतिहास के एक अहम मोड़ पर मजबूती से की गई कार्रवाई देश की दिशा बदल सकती थी. उन्होंने लिखा, “महात्मा गांधी की हत्या के बाद, अगर उसी समय कम्युनलिज्म का सिर मजबूती से कुचल दिया जाता, तो देश को तबाही से बचाया जा सकता था. सत्ता में रहने के दौरान पार्टी की नीतियों की आलोचना करते हुए, मदनी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी ने धार्मिक नफरत से चलने वाली राजनीति के प्रति नरम रवैया अपनाया.

Targeting the Congress party, Madani questioned its old approach towards communalism and said that the country has reached the “brink of destruction” due to the failure to take firm action against communal forces. In a post on X, Madani said that decisive action taken at a crucial moment in history could have changed the country’s direction. He wrote, “After Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination, if communalism had been firmly crushed at that very time, the country could have been saved from destruction.” Criticising the party’s policies during its time in power, Madani also said that the Congress party adopted a soft approach towards politics driven by religious hatred.
