Nowadays its rarely good ice and snow in the Finnish Archipelago. This year was an exception with really good strong ice in the whole archipelago.
I have had a dream since childhood to try to ride snowboard on my two favorite islands in Archipelago sea; Storfallan & Högland.
These two islands has ment most in my life, cause my roots are home from the small Storfallan island and i has a small cabin there. Högland is the highest island in the Archipelago sea and is nowadays part of the Archipelago National Park. Back in the days that island belonged to my family. And we has spent many days barbecuing and hiking around there, thru the years and nowadays with my kids its a perfect miniadventure destination.
