PREPARE
Staggered stance position
Place a band behind you on a sturdy and stable anchor
Loop the band around your back knee
Bent your back knee close to a 90 degree angle
Engage your front foot with the floor so you have a neutral arch
Engage your core
Neutral spine
PERFORM
Come into a soleus raise against the resistance of the band
Maintain the knee bent throughout
Drop the heel as low as you can while maintaining a bent knee
Perform for the prescribed amount of reps or time
PRIORITIZE
Maintain the knee bent throughout
Come up as high as you can into a soleus raise
Drop the heel as low as you can while maintaining a bent knee
Keep the rest of your body still as you perform soleus raises
Neutral spine throughout
Maintain core engagement throughout the exercise
