How Much Do Weighted Dips Help Your Bench Press?

Yesterday I tested my bench one-rep max after 8 months of only using weighted dips to train my chest. After the testing session, i can confidently say there is some significant strength carry-over from one movement to the other.
Truth is I haven't had flat barbell bench as a staple in my workout routine since 2016. At that time I could bench 120 kg for 1, which is my lifetime PR. My bodyweight then versus now is about the same at 80-81 kg.
I'd like to do a bench training block for a few months at some point and see where it takes me, but for now I'll probably just keep training weighted dips and maybe it will take me all the way to 3 plate bench 🤔
5 plate dip = 3 plate bench? Time will tell.
