#KnowYourSaints: Today is the Solemnity of Christ the King . It’s our proclamation to the world that Christ is the Lord of all creation and the true ruler on the earth. This special celebration of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, was established officially quite recently. It was Pope Pius XI who added this feast to the liturgical calendar in the year 1925. He hoped it would help the Church respond to rising secularism and atheism. Today is the perfect time to make an Act of Dedication of our world, especially nations that are at war and suffering civil unrest, our Church, our families to Christ our King..
