A 3 minutes quick tour of San Antonio Zoo
Out of all the exhibits, we loved "Lory Landing" and the pond with all the beautiful flamingos.
If you like to take some nice pictures of your kids, let them feed the koi by the big flamingo pond. The zoo is encouraging cashless payment methods. But they were nice enough to get me some change of quarters. Bring some quarters to make things simple.
It cost $3 for a small cup of nectar to feed the parrots at "Lory Landing". You pay for the cup by the concession. They will have someone filled up your cup when you walk into the exhibit. Again, if you like to focus on taking pictures of your family. You don't have to fill up the cup when you walk in. Just keep it empty until you are ready.
Food at the cafe was in reasonable size. My daughter ordered a pizza for her own. It came out a bit smaller than a regular medium pizza. It was enough to feed 2 young kids for sure. I had a burger for my own and I was completely full.
